SF is shopping heaven and after three months of work and not much play, it was hard to discern which things to buy and which things not to buy.... Still, great shopping revenue!
Great to be back here. The streets are long and steep, beautiful houses and ugly ones between them, it barely changed since I was here in 2000. Just as many homeless people as well, which is kind of shocking when you come from Maastricht, where the homeless people still get their beer at the Albert Heijn....
Bought a Lonely Planet of the US, which for the traveller is kind of like a peace sign for a hippy: a bit pathetic, but essential all the same....
